Reason for Urgency: This development was business critical for the applicant.

This was an application by the Authority. The proposal was for an electrical vehicle charging point to be used for the Authority’s electrical vehicle and for staff electric vehicles. It was not part of the listed building but was within the curtilage of the listed building.

It was noted that a representation received from a member of the public had requested that the charging points be made available to the public, however this would not be possible due to the Authority’s required use during the working week, and the car park not being a public car park and is closed in the evenings and at weekends. The Director of Conservation and Planning will ask the Director of Commercial Development and Engagement to respond to the person making the comment to explain the Authority’s position.

RESOLVED:

That the application be APPROVED subject to the following conditions:

1. 3 year time limit.

2. In accordance with submitted plans.
