The Chair, on behalf of all Members thanked Philip Naylor, Head of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for his expert guidance over the years, and wished him well on his retirement.

The Chair recently took part in a litter pick in the Mam Tor area  with Mr Robert Largan, MP for High Peak, and the Director of  Commercial Development & Engagement who were taken aback by the dedication of the rangers and partners in this tireless work to address this significant issue not just in the Peak District but in other National Parks.

The Chair urged all Members to attend the Member Workshop on the 18^th September as there were important items on the agenda to discuss, and it would be a good opportunity to join the Strategic Leadership Team in the decisions to be made.
