I have lived and farmed in the North York Moors National Park. I was educated at the Royal Agricultural University. I have served on North East Derbyshire District Council Planning Committee, Local Plan Steering Group and Standards Committee. I am experienced in heather moor management game rearing.

People must be able to enjoy the National Park and respect the countryside. They must also respect the people who live there and be aware that they have to earn their living. The farmers are the park keepers.
