Reason for Urgency: The confirmation of the Tree Preservation Order (TPO) was considered to be time critical as the current provisional TPO was due to expire on the 25^th May 2020, so the Chief Executive was asked to approve the TPO confirmation under the Emergency Delegated Powers.

The tree, a Turkey Oak, was considered to be of sufficient public amenity to merit protection, so therefore an individual Tree Preservation Order (TPO 91/2019) covering the tree at the property named Mouselow was made on 25 November 2019. The effect was that the Order applied for six months or until confirmed or modified.

Following an objection to the Order on the 19 December 2019 expressing concern about the health and amenity value of the Turkey Oak, and a further visit by the Tree Conservation Officer (TCO), it was recommended that TPO 91/2019 be confirmed without modification.

RESOLVED:

That the TPO 91/2019 be confirmed without modification on 22^nd May 2020.
