The Head of Resources presented the report to approve a calendar of meetings up to December 2027.  There was a minor amendment to the 2nd October 2026 where the Member Forum date should be 25th September 2026 after the Authority Meeting.  The Business Planning Briefing date of 2nd October 2026 was correct.

Member discussed the following points –

•         That meeting dates up to the end of 2027 were useful for planning ahead if they didn’t get changed.  There were times when it was necessary to have extraordinary Authority meetings or additional essential Member training.

•         Meeting dates to be added to calendars if possible.  This maybe a system issue.

The recommendation as set out in the report was moved, seconded, put to the vote and carried.

RESOLVED:

1.      To approve the Calendar of Meetings for the remainder of 2026 and 2027 as set out in Appendix 1 of the report subject to the amendment of the Members’ Forum date from 2nd October 2026 to 25th September 2026.
