The Chief Executive gave a presentation to showcase what had been achieved over the year, highlighting the following:

•         75 years of the Peak District National Park

•         2311 Staff and Volunteers

•         1235 Planning Applications received, 91% decided within target

•         Enforcement cases down

•         Visitor Engagement

•         270 applications for work to protected trees

•         Parish Liaison

•         Farming in Protected Landscapes (FiPL) scheme with 457 projects funded

•         Moor for the Future (MFFP) Nature Recovery work

•         ‘After the Smoke Clears’ short film produced by MFFP

•         Archaeology Research Framework

•         Landscape Connections

•         People of the Peak

•         Landscapes Unlocked

•         Training Academy, 55 new starters, also some redundancies

•         10 Ranger Areas with volunteers out every day and Welcome volunteer role created

•         Public Toilets refurbished and charging introduced

•         Income generation from car parks through Pay and Display and parking permits

•         Active Travel Capability

•         National Park Centres

•         Camping pods at Fieldhead campsite

•         Education programme

•         Cycle Hire Hubs

•         Engagement with other organisations

•         Castleton Area Management

•         Raising the profile of the PD National Park

The Chair thanked the CEO, staff, communities and volunteers for everything that had been delivered over the last 12 months.
