High Peak and Hope Valley Community Rail Partnership

Both Partnership and Management Group meetings are held 3 times per year.  They may be in person or virtual meetings and locations of meetings can vary.

High Peak and Hope Valley Community Rail Partnership (HPHVCRP) are funded and managed by a partnership of local authorities and train operating companies. The Community Rail Network, a national organisation funded and guided by the Department for Transport provides a structure for the way it works, grants accreditation to operate and provides support and training to help it work effectively and with relevance to peoples’ needs.  HPHVCRP is hosted by Derbyshire County Council and the management committee meets on a quarterly basis to review plans and budgets.

The HPHVCRP partners include Avanti West Coast, CrossCountry, East Midlands Railway, Northern, Transpennine Trains, Cheshire East Council, Derbyshire County Council, High Peak Borough Council, and Peak District National Park. The Community Rail Network and Network Rail also provide support and Station Friends volunteer their time and expertise to make community projects and station improvements happen.
