PDNPA Lead Officer – Phil Mulligan, Chief Executive
Meets 4 times per year plus 4 Financial Sub-Committee meetings per year. All are usually evening meetings.
The Authority appoints three Member representatives to the Foundation as Trustees. Two reserve Members are also appointed.
The Peak District National Park Foundation is a registered charity established to raise funds to care for The Peak District National Park and make it more inclusive. The Foundation’s vision is the Peak District National Park enjoyed and conserved by everyone. Its Mission is to grow income and support to care for the Peak District National Park for everyone to enjoy forever.
The Foundations’ aim is to raise funds and create a culture of philanthropy supporting the Peak District National Park. It supports activities which keep the Peak District special and make it a National Park for all, connects people who care about the National Park and have the means to support it with the partners striving to care for this special place for everyone.
The Foundations priorities are:
· Preparing for a future climate
· Conservation and habitat restoration
· A National Park everyone
