I am Chair of NEDDC Planning Committee and have served on the Planning Committee for 3 years (2023). I have worked with many outside bodies including Derbyshire County Council Countryside Services and Don Catchment River Trust to bring improvements in biodiversity and other projects to Grassmoor Country Park.
All authorities are struggling with funding and resources. The effects of climate change are really starting to show on the national landscape, so this is an exciting time to be involved in the Peak Park’s new action plan to meet net zero targets, deliver thriving communities and much more.
