I am a lifelong resident of the PDNP, caring passionately about its preservation, heritage, beauty and the welfare of its residents, especially our young people needing homes and improving facilities for tourists.

I am the longest serving member (26+ years) on the NP having served on all main committees, many panels/advisory groups. My attendance records/participation in discussions is exemplary and would stand scrutiny.

My local support being a Rowsley PC Councillor, representing councils on various outside meetings, attending up to 3 PC meetings per week, advising as appropriate, constructive networking with other PC’s & liaising with the police.

My greatest concern is affordable housing for the younger generation, environment friendly quarrying, renewable energy sources, farming and protecting the treasured NP landscape and beyond. I continue to further reduce my own carbon footprint.

Importantly, I listen to what other people say and help where I can.
